Symptoms can occur very gradually in older people developing Alzheimer's Disease. Symptoms that can occur are:

  1. Having problems doing simple math
  2. Confusion
  3. Restlessness

The Alzheimer's Association estimates that more than 4 million North Americans suffer from Alzheimer's. One of many symptoms contains a slow loss of memory and eventually failure of body movement and functions.

There have been cases where Alzheimer’s is detected before symptoms occur by taking skin and blood samples before the disease even becomes visible.

Research has shown that symptoms are worse in women than men with Alzheimer's Disease.
